She also attended orchestral music camps including the Australian Youth Orchestra’s National Music Camps 2013 & 2014 and the Australian International Symphony Orchestra Institute 2013.
Ellie is a keen chamber musician and has been performing in many ensembles across Brisbane for the past 12 years.
A highlight has been to attend the Australian Festival of Chamber Music Winterschool in 2014 where she performed in master classes with leading Australian and international chamber musicians.
In 2017 Ellie was a founding member of two chamber ensembles - the Byrne Harrison Scalia Trio (Daniel Byrne Clarinet, Natalie Scalia Piano) and Les Trois Graces (Anna Coe Flute, Linley Chai Harp).
The BHS Trio studied core repertoire for the group including Schumann Fairytales, Bruch Eight Pieces and Mozart Kegelstatt Trio and also commissioned new repertoire for the group from emerging Brisbane composers.
Les Trois Graces has so far focused on french composers with the intricate Debussy Trio and Jollivet's Petite Suite including a performance in Brisbane City Hall to an audience of a three hundred.

As teacher Ellie uses the skills she developed in her studies at the conservatorium and has a teaching style influenced by Feldenkrais technique that is curious, playful and considered. Ellie focuses on using music learning to develop confidence, discipline and a sense of self as well as to play beautifully.
